Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. More than 20 albums have been released by her. Her songs are classified by the label as alternative and folk. They also have influences from hip hop, jazz, and punk. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon and a Grammy award-winning. Being one of the early female musicians in the 1990s, DiFranco created her own label. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who was introduced to Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother and father were both of Montreal descent.
