Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. She has been involved in numerous projects, however her involvement in the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. The full title of Selena Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. The full title is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett & Ricardo Gomez. She was just 16 at the time Selena was born. When she was 9 was offered her very first job as a showgirl when she got the role of Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among many children to have played with Barney, the famous anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena contributed to several episodes in season 7 and 8. She worked between 2001-2003. It's a great fact that Selena was not the only one who sang on Barney and his Friends at this time; Demi Lovato was also a part of the team that starred in the series. Selena Gomez had a few auditions for different series and films following the conclusion of Barney and His Friends. The auditions were not successful. There was a small role on Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003 and one more in 2004 as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. Also, in 2006 she was Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. For this role, she composed a tune.
