Selena Gomez - an international singer and actress - is known as a household name. The Disney film Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the most prestigious projects she was a part of and achieved the greatest popularity, is her work. The full title of Selena Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on 22nd July, 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were her parents. Selena's mom was only 16 at the time Selena was born. She got her first stage show job at the age of nine when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Through this she became one of the thousands of youngsters who've enjoyed the chance to get involved with the anthromorphic dinosaur which has grown to become well-known in the world of science fiction. Selena was a part of numerous episodes from seasons 7 and 8 from 2001 - 2003. Selena was not the only performer who appeared on Barney and His Friends in this time period. Demi Loveto also worked on the show. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned for different films and shows and did not get the most success. After leaving the series, Selena was able to audition for several roles in other programs and films but did not have much success.
