Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. When she was an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to modeling and acting. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office star worldwide. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
